My love for drawing began when my father put chalk to board and drew the bicycle he was teaching me to ride...
The drawing lesson certainly stuck!
I grew up in France, but have since moved to my father's native Scotland and it's beautiful hills! A graduate from l’Atelier de Sèvres in Paris, and Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, I've also studied illustration at Edinburgh college. After several years working Arts & Crafts with Learning Disability community, I'm eager to keep my passion for art a way of life.
Among my creative inspirations feature Quentin Blake, Jill Murphy and Philippe Daure.
I enjoy "Bande Dessinée," Manga, and Video Games, when I'm not devouring chapter books or making up my own stories.
Character-driven visuals fascinate me!
At the end of the day, images help tell a story, and nothing makes me happier than to use my art to help the narrative connect to people.
