Watercolour Diary
In order to keep my illustrator skills sharp and experimenting, I'm doing a daily challenge that changes every month and adds to my Portfolio.
You'll find them recorded on my Instagram page, where you can see the latest challenge in my Stories.
Most challenges involve taking no more than 25 minutes on the day's contribution.
November 2019
After Inktober, it's always a pleasure to return to full Colour Works! So for November I pulled out the trusty watercolour palette: using it to paint my daily likes and thoughts from the day.
The Samhuinn Fire Festival was a fantastic way to see in November, even if it was very cold!
Caught a bit of the Rugby World cup on TV, always a pleasure to watch,
After years of hearing so much good about this TV series, I've finally gotten around to watching Veronica Mars.

It's lovely to catch up and chat with friends.
The days are starting to look very grey. Buy a bouquet.
I love a pretty night sky with sparkling frost on the grass. Very atmospheric with a moonbow above.
Jolly cold!
Well organised for the Christmas holiday this year.
As a millennial, it feels rather strange to use an old software again after years of not; am so used to old software becoming obsolete!
Ring Fit Adventure is a lot more engaging than its trailer advertised! Our friend George gave us a demonstration.
A rare time of quiet in which to pick up the old crochet again. It'd been months!
Edinburgh Literary Salon organised a lovely talk at Waterstones for Book Week. Very glad I went.
Got to keep up the fitness, even when its really dark out the windows of the gym.

This game is a really immersive experience. Highly recommend.
I've never received anything in the post with quite so many stamps!

This game on the Nintendo Switch has been my go to downtime these last few months. Still very much enjoying it.
It took me a frustratingly long week to figure out how best to reattach the Zip Pull tab, but I did it!
Been enjoying those Christmas tunes on the radio.
Snuck by the Christmas Market to meet my husband out of work with a surprise Bratwurst. A much needed treat.
